If you actually read the statements by the PM renters do not simply have the ability to not pay. If they haven't lost their job because of this crisis they are expectef to meet their contractual obligations. If they have lost their job then landlords and tenant need to discuss things to help each other through which may mean some rent deferment.
This is not a deadbeat holiday and requires people of good faith
