Property held long term ( never sold ) is still the best asset base from which to diversify your portfolio.

Those whe have sold a CGT property ahead of the impending but elusive crash pay tax on the CGT component and whether they will ever be able to repurchase the same property after the " crash " with there CGT taxed funds is for my money next to impossible to achieve.

I was hoaxed by a realtor to sell one property in 2000 because of the "GST" baloney.
Slow down on Cap Gains my Fat Ass.
Could not get anywhere near repurchasing this property today.
