The fact that you may be making a loss and end up with less equity than having your money in a bank account for 20 years, you get that satisfaction, but you have to work a bit managing the property and paperwork and extra tax complexity and manage bad tenants and maintain pesky problems and make sure you have the right insurance and the list goes on.
