the foreigners are borrowing from the Asian banks....the Bank of China is lending the money at those low rates, to enable them to buy property in Australia...
you have to be kidding yourself if you think asians are only able to borrow from OZ banks....
the result...Asians borrow at almost zero rates to buy OZ houses
Aussies pay 7% plus interest rates to OZ banks to buy oz houses...
guess who the winners are....
ps I would love to get a loan from Bank of China at 1-2% to buy more aussie houses
