Re councils and Govt was my point that the big winners out of this boom seem to be govt in ongoing fees increase in perpetuity till they decide they have enough which will be never?
What I find amazing is that in the past you just shifted further out to cheaper suburbs but even the cheaper suburbs are wanting 700 k. It’s just got ridiculous in a country with so much land, even in country towns prices have become ridiculous when once they were virtually giving them away. Massive Ponzi scheme created by Govt intervention in my view, govt are only looking to collect revenue in what ever means they can and provide little back in keeping the gravy train running.
