i use credit cards, in fact i have a few of them.
i use my commonwealth one till about july/August (thats when I cant earn any more points, its capped at 100k a year) then I use my virgin nab card (i have over 500k virgin blue points) I will add obviously i am a big spender, but i never get charged more for the card, or i will pay cash, for the principal of it.
I remember years ago, I refinanced 5 properties with another bank becasue of a $2 charge.( i actually came out in front fortunately, but again it was the principal of it.)

End of the day, always think, and do your sums, there are cycles, now 4 me its money in the market, in a few years i may change that.
