    The reality is that whether you invest in shares or property, you are unlikely to become rich/super rich overnight - investing takes time to come to fruition.

    You also do not need to have a large amount of money to buy into property. All you need is the deposit, and have worked out what you can afford to pay over time. Ideally the rent covers all the costs or at least will in the near future. For added security you can also fix your interest rate for the long term - you can get a 15 year fixed (albeit at a higher rate) from the Commonwealth Bank. In 15 years you will have capital growth, and the rent will be allot greater so by then the interest rate will no longer be so relevant!
