sierra --your right,great product and from all accounts a more productive deal than solar panels,that would be the next ideal pursuit for 3kw+ system mounted on a carport and incorporate the panels as the actual roofing to reduce cost and gain aspect advantage.
it seems not many are aware of evacuated tube products,the install i had did not incorporate a reflective backing, it makes sense ,then again a gal roof would make even more sense for the application.
