It will all come back to yield if you're looking at 2 bedroom apartments imho.
Owner-occupied 3-4 bedroom houses and premises are still recording the biggest increase anyway. People prefer their privacy, their pets, their tranquility and a piece of dirt anytime.
Know someone that paid over a mill for an apartment to have the noisiest neighbours above and next to to him...lol
Good residential homes will hold its own and the industrial property activities will underpin the banks for a while yet imho.
In the meantime I'm looking for a super flash apartment to rent in Melbourne for the next 12 months and looking for an industrial site near the CBD to flog Ferraris off.....lol
