Those guys answered your question. Another thing is that we as foreign 'aliens' are generally charged at a much higher rate for finance than 'real people' of US origin with god credit history. We are treated the same as someone with a poor credit history despite having good credit back here. The current rate is around 8% but I suppose that is getting close to our rates anyway. The way to go is to buy a property with cash then re-finance over there to access the equity to buy more. $50K to $65K AUS returning 20%+ is a great deal, just like you could get a few years back here.
