property to fall 43% ????????, page-12

Despite predictions for at least 6 months that property values will fall, in fact the opposite is occuring, in Perth, anyway.
Some areas have had 43+% RISES in the last year, with no sign of slackening for now.
The secret seams to be WATER.
Properties with water views, whether it be ocean, river, or the Mandurah estuary, just keep climbing.
Why?
Because the availability of such land is rapidly diminishing.
And when new land releases dry up, the only way you will have a water view is to pay the price......
I would like to see prices fall to make a quality land purchase more affordable to mugs like me, but I dont think it will happen.
