Having been a student of Prof. Abelson, his research in public economics is excellent,his current housing research is further proof of unceartainty in housing prices. Unfortunately people fail to treat housing as an asset class, and those "marginal investors" will suffer the consequences. Real estates like brokers depend on turnover, they are not a valid source of expected prices.
