Somewhere in the back of my mind I read that the long term average rate for mortgages is 8% so we have a few more rate rises to come. US rates will continue to climb until that figure is reached. Stocks that save money for people are the ones to be in, medical stocks are safe as we will always spend on our health, cheap housing ok, but anything that smells of exorbitance is risky.
