With property, is all about position, but at least if the property is a dud, you get something back. What happens if you bought ABC Learning, Allco, MFS, CopperCo etc.
Property is good for the regular income from rent, where as dividend income can vary with shares, as we are seeing. But shares generally have better capital growth.
I prefer shares, but buyer beware.
