A Financial Company tweeted some facts (wish I took notes or photocopied).

Highest income earners were paid lower refunds in total dollars. Compared to lower income earners whose refund were worth more in total dollars . Seems to me system is working as it should and cap has made a difference.
This statistic will come out in time and prove the current system is fair.

There a large number of citizens who hold Australian shares but have no interest in market. Have a few $ invested really rely on that franking credit to pay a few bills.
