Thanks for the response dr. I am getting a bit old and cynical so it is my contention that SIO did not invest in AHZ to be good fellows to our shareholders. They are venture capitalists and would have invested to make money on behalf of their shareholders and they would have assessed the deal in accordance with their own risk policies. In relation to "a deal is a deal", the deal was not an absolute right to convert the debt to shares. They accepted that it was "subject to shareholder approval" and I am not convinced that AHZ shareholders owe anything to SIO other than to repay the debt owing.
