It was obvious was it? Sorry I must be stupid.
It was obviously to support share price cause that is what they are used for. Gallagher was so far under water at that stage they were never going to put in and a small bounce on share buy back would have made no difference.
There is NO QUESTION the announcement was worded as a done deal with a strong inclination it was imminent. The suggestion now that it was conditional is probably sueable except they can afford very good lawyers.....lol
