Graham, since the Melbourne Capital placements there's been quite a bit of water under the bridge and there's been a number of placements made to other entities, including former director, Geoff Barnes' Pelaton Capital, Otsana Capital and also plenty to Daniel Lanskey's company. In no way do Melbourne Capital "own" this register.
Furthermore, MC's last placement, back in 2013 was to underwrite $1.5M of a $2.9M placement @ 1c, so they would almost certainly have moved those shares along by now. They were listed 1-for-1 RYGOB at the time, so if anything that will be where there's still some stake holders.
Regardless of any of that, the quality of project will determine the outcome of the share price.
