    Metcah is going ahead, good news for us. If the ACCC cant get an injuction by Friday then the ACCC have effectively admitted defeat!

    Metcash Limited (Metcash) notified the ACCC yesterday that after the expiry of 5 clear business days from yesterday it will consider itself free to agree with Pick n Pay to waive the condition requiring ACCC approval and to complete the
    acquisition of the issued shares in Interfrank Group Holdings Pty Ltd.The notice follows the ACCC?s decision on 9 September to appeal the Federal Court?s judgement dismissing the ACCC?s application to prevent Metcash from acquiring Franklins.
