At SLM's last annual report (08/09/2023), LRS held 13,392,703 shares in SLM (approx 15%). I do not know what their current holding is. In today's announcement of the proposed acquisition of LRS by PLS under a scheme of arrangement, these shares are not listed as one of the non-core assets of LRS which would otherwise be divested as a result of the scheme. Presumably this means they would be acquired by PLS and thus PLS become a major shareholder of SLM. Any comment from anyone on this?
