this sounds promising... a lift to 11.5 would be nice for the bottom line. One must remember any lift in price is all added profit. This suggests there is a further delay in our ppas now :/
Govt to Revise Ceiling Tariff for Geothermal

JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - Indonesian government will increase the feed-in tariff of geothermal-power electricity purchase to US$9-US$10 cent per kWh.
“(The Ministry Regulation No.2/2011 about Electricity Purchase for Geothermal Plant) is troublesome. The new regulation will be valid for new projects and expansions,” Kardaya Warnika, Director General of Renewable Energy told Bisnis Indonesia.
The amended regulation will erase the ceiling price of US$9.7 cent per kWh under the current regulation.
“If the electricity is generated by 2018, for example, then we will settle the price. We will push the developers to bring the geothermal plant online as soon as possible,” he stated.
Kardaya said the regulation is currently being discussed within the Directorate, but he did not disclose when the new regulation will be issued.
Ministry of Energy has issued Ministry Regulation No.2/2011 about Electricity Purchase for Geothermal Plant and put the ceiling price of US$C9.7 per kWh which has been seen by the investors as ‘unattractive’. ([email protected])
