Biograde shareholders unanimous vote to merge with CNN obviously was no surprise and one would assume the CNN vote will also go in favour of the merger in early March so to avoid beating ones head against the wall one should scratch for positives re the merger.
There is one area on which I have started to warm to the merger and that is on the news front. At last, at long last, we may have a vehicle that may provide us with some intermittent news from activities if the spiel at the AGM is to be believed. ( Hopefully from a revenue aspect and not so much expense related ).
ALL PV's interests ACB, BML, CNN, DIA, Aquenox and Biograde imo seem to be struggling at the momement and while some maybe cashed up now they may require fresh capital 12 months or more down the track to stay afloat.
Considering most these companies are into R & D and generate bugger all sales, Biograde may provide CNN with an unprecedented opportunity not to rely totally on investors funds for its survival in the future.
Based on Biogrades successful contract with the 2008 Olympics there looks like an avenue for multiple $m contracts to be landed and that is what we are going to need with just over 500m shareholders after the merger.
That means NEWS now and again hopefully, and NEWS is a must if CNN is to attract investors interest again on whatever scale. (and posters also)
So heres to a few non - paper shuffling ASX announcements in the coming months.
Was the option question that dumb?
Cheers
