I wondered the same thing myself... Perhaps "hoped" should be the word. On face value, I take today's notice as a sign of weakness regarding the court action, but I've learned not to take anything said by ASX company directors at face value. Way too much behind the scenes action happening all over the shop, and often the retail investors are the ones to get burnt.
