The equivalent offer price of A$0.1898 per Dart share represents:
• A premium of 40.6% over the closing price of Dart Shares on ASX on 8 May 2014 of A$0.135;
A premium on the heavily manipulated shareprice.
Before The New Hope 500lb gorilla demanded control we saw heavily manipulated buying that enabled them to buy 32 million shares without pushing the SP up. We've been watching that same kind of manipulation a few times since to drop the SP or keep a lid on and keep it from rising. I have no idea who has been behind it but it would not be surprising to find that it was all part of an attempt to take the company cheap from frustrated shareholders. For the last week we've seen the buy side swell with "buyers" but no-one interested to go .5c higher despite all the apparent support.
It just looks like a big scam to me.
