The US DOD is a bit player in the REE market. One wonders if the DOD is currently sourcing from illegal Chinese operations, which are essentially anti-CCP, and will be forced by this bill to identify the illegal source and then stop using it. Begs the question: Is the CCP sponsoring the bill?
