No doubt the goals and aspirations of the CCP and Lynas will occasionally align. Both are totally focused on REE-enabled industries.
In fact, if ROW refuses to get off the mat and make kilotons at least of Dy-NdFeB in the next two-three years at least, then I have high hopes that Lynas will nonetheless grow greatly with a great deal of help from the Chinese magnet-makers AND the CCP. I would MUCH prefer seeing Lynas enter JVs with ROW magnet-makers. That would be the best. ROW contracts Chinese magnet-makers to transform Lynas materials obtained via offtake or whatever.
