    If landlords can charge 1000 per week rent, then, why don't they do it now? They are philanthropist or , more plainly , do not want to make more money?

    if NG investors believe that the decreased tax benefit can be passed on to tenants, then why do they care about the removal of NG? In fact, in this case, those investors would benefit from the removal because they could immediately get more income from higher rent and they didn't have to generate other incomes in order to take advantage of the NG.

    IMO, many of those who are apposing the removal of MG are just telling something that is not what they are actually thinking of and are very biased.

    If the NG is really for the good of tenants, then, you, NG investors, do not need to worry about tenants at all because the Government can spend part of the cost savings in tax to subsidise those affected tenants.


    Just my thoughts or opinions, No offence, both personal or group, is intended. I noticed that some pro-NG posters here had been very aggressive on Anti-NG posters.
