I guess you should question is this reasonable with farm in partner taking all the risk that it could be a duster.
Looking at the retracted figures for NPV P90 $130mil and P50 $1bil. I'd say it would be stupid for IPB to release this info if it was totally contradictory to what info prospective farm in partners will have access to before any farm in. So 90% chance farm in partner makes at least a small amount (~7.5mil on 25% stake) and at least a 50% chance they make a lot (~$250mil).
Next question is how would the market take such an announcement? I'd imagine crazy at first and then a fall and level off as SHs wait for drill results next year. CVN type graph I would assume.
