I decided to start a less melodramatic thread about the spp.
I don't know whether or not I will participate in this spp. There is no point throwing away money if the same old things are going to happen. Anyway here are my thoughts on the spp.
Pros:
1. Upgrade infrastructure
2. Expand marketing and sales initiatives
3. Construction of processing facility
Cons:
1. General working capital (is this going towards management's remuneration?)
Will the directors be taking up their full quota under the spp? I could not find any mention of this anywhere. You would think that this information would be front and centre and in bold in order to encourage every shareholder to participate.
In relation to the AGM why do non-executive directors deserve a $140,000 per annum increase? I don't care if they haven't had an increase in 6 years, their performance does not warrant one.
