So my question is if the manipulation alone is legal would not the barrage of anonymous postings on this stock market forum that greets every positive ann. from Ton with 1 line downers or long professional downers together constitute fraud if they were linked to those doing the manipulation??

eg. When Triton's Corporate presentation was released on 19/5 over the next 3 days there were hundreds of negative posts from non -holders! Just 3 posters- ddzx, wazbee, and Matt72 contributing 70 between them. This was when Hot Copper put a maximum of 3 posts per day for non holders of Triton . Hot Copper had to change its rules because of IMO organised abuse of this forum to attack Ton and thereby IMO to defraud Ton holders. Over time this tactic has proved successful and a company that should be valued at 0.88c per recent GMP valuation is only at 0.185c. Many retail investors who have sold have lost real money and those holding on are at significant paper loss. Fraud is against the law and if proven perpetrators punished! Honest investors should be protected by the authorities.
Even though this is an anonymous forum when you have extremes like Triton has/is suffering then IMO an official investigation would be helpful. An authority with search powers (ip. addresses and all posts are on file and email trails easy to follow) should find it simple to establish links and any fraudulent activity and the sight of well dressed "masters of the universe" types doing gaol time would be salutary to their type and cleansing of the ASX. Dual listing to get away from the ASX would not seem so urgent.
