Think of it this way Tony. The JV partners already have an idea of what will be released in the next risk report.
how do you think COPs shareholders will react if they find COP let the field go for e.g. $1 a barrel? As the contract was signed and no escaping it, I think the news has to be released now or COP will have even more egg on their faces.
