We can only hope that on August the 16th in their half yearly statements or there about's, Cairn Energy make a claim of DOC. This will fit very well into the 90 day pre-emption rights. In doing so this will increase the value of the field, and FAR and CNE in MC. It will also potentially stir up a lot more interest from big oil, and maintain our chances of keeping this dream alive with additional parties vying for a stake in this large find.
Cne has to begin playing a very serious game here, in order to maximize their value as well. One would have to feel the board at Cairn will also not have been to pleased with the sell out sum Conoco released their percentage at.
So many scenarios, and all will be approaching in the not too distant future. Let's hope for exciting times ahead, and not a sloppy outcome.
