Oki's Face Sensor technology based on Blaze's facial recognition engine and a by-product of Facecommunicator softwre has just been licensed by Vodafone japan.
This comes on top of developments with DoCoMo on avatars which bypassed Blaze but nevertheless shows where things are heading. Vodafone boasts something like 173 mill subscribers worldwide.
