The number one gold project in Argentina appears to be Las Openas
Company has marketed the project as 100% owned but seem to have failed to pay 3rd year payments and ownership may be 51%.

NewPeak has recently 6 July 2023 announced the 51% ownership and dispute with Genesis

The company (under the name Navaho Gold before Dark Horse) has had a dispute with the same Genesis
before about developing US Gold prospects. The number 1 gold projects were "terminated"
after announcement of the dispute. With similar information as with Las Openas NewPeak directors lost the projects
for Genesis?
2015-16 there was a major US dispute leading to loss of property with investments
and 2019 Las Openas gold deal with the same Genesis.

In 2014 the US Gold projects were still number 1. projects of the company, see annual report 2014, page 4

The problems of the deal were faintly indicated in the annual report 2014, page 5
"At the time of this report, Navaho Gold has entered negotiations with the owner of theCarlin East Project (Genesis Gold Corp) to
effectively convert the project arrangement from an “all or nothing” call option to a more traditional farm-in arrangement."

Then 2015 the ownership was 51% and there was information about the dispute and
2017 the project were terminated, or lost?

GOLD PROJECT, USA
The Company maintains an interest in the following project located in the USA:
New Mexico Project, New Mexico
Via Alliance Agreement with Genesis Gold Corp.
The Company currently holds a 51% equitable interest in the New Mexico Alliance with Genesis Gold Corp as a result of
its prior expenditure in relation to securing the project areas.
This provided Dark Horse Resources with a 51% interest in five separate projects within the New Mexico Alliance area.
Each of these projects has the potential to yield world-class gold discoveries similar to the Carlin-style gold deposits in
the prolific gold province of Nevada.
Dark Horse Resources is currently in dispute with Genesis Gold over the extent and nature of the Company’s equitable
interest in the project.

"The legal dispute centres on the legal framework of the ownership of the Carlin East Project, and the financial commitments
associated therewith, which the Company and Genesis Gold have been negotiating on these matters for some months.
The Directors of the Company believe there are good grounds for CED to contest this action and advise that CED intends to vigorously defend the legal claim. Additionally the Company is also in dispute with Genesis in respect of ownership interest in respectof the New Mexico project. This dispute is ongoing and may require arbitration to resolve. The Company believes there are good grounds for its position and intends to vigorously protect its position. Accordingly,no provision has been recognised in thefinancial statements as it relates to this dispute."

Purported Termination Notice
NewPeak Metals Limited (NewPeak, NPM, the Company) (ASX: NPM) advises that it has received a
purported termination notice from its 49% joint venture partner Genesis Minerals (Argentina) SA in
relation to the agreements for the Las Opeñas project in Argentina.
NPM disputes the validity of the termination notice and reserves its rights under the terms of the
agreements in place.
NPM will update the market in due course.
