I understand the market...You are essentially saying they should collect all the on-lent money and scrap the capital raising
Nice in theory, but, without knowing the term of the loans, it's hard to say whether they could collect them prior to the funds being required for BKP's contribution towards drilling.
Like everyone, I'm not happy with this situation but I would far rather take part in the capital raising than play Russian roulette with my investment.
In any event, who is to say the share price will be at 0.005 when the offer closes?...It may be that there will be an announcement before the close of offer on Statoil's drilling plans which will lift the share price.You then have a chance to get more stock at a discount to the prevailing price...That is one positive of a capital raising....it may turn out to be a windfall
