A previous doctor to whom my wife sent me for a prostate checkup, told me :" We all get it, but most men die WITH it, not OF it. Now, GZ, do you want to know? Because if we find cancr and remove your prostate, you'll become incontinent....have to wear pads like a woman. Do you REAlly want to know?" GZ:" errr...if you put it like that, no." And away I went.
My wife was horrified, as was the next doctor I went to, the one with the enormous hands, lol. He reckoned that was the siliest thing he ever heard coming from a doctor.
Yet late last year, I read in the press that a growing number were going with what my first doctor said. Funny, eh? But dont take what I say as medical advice, listen to your own doctor.
