I have been using ProTA 4 since its release in 2015. Previously familiar with ProTA Gold. The current package is altogether different and offers incredible scope and flexibility but I love the idea that ProTAscript is used to write formulas, custom indicators, trading systems and smartlist critera. Backtesting is available and can be applied to all stock, a single stock or your own smartlist of stocks.
For medium and long term traders data from Yahoo is updated automatically your own data can be used as an alternative. ASX data including fundamentals are available.
The author responds to emails and responds to suggestions. If you are a mac devotee you will not be disappointed.
