    I can't remember a time when I ever left my car unlocked. My insurance company probably wouldn't have paid out on it if it were stolen as I have a duty of care to ensure the vehicle is locked to prevent theft.

    You can still find a secluded beach today. You probably have to drive a bit further that's all. You can also still find abundant wildlife, again you may have to travel a bit further out past the suburbs.

    I do agree with your belief that things are only going to get a lot worse. If we have done so much damage in such a short space of time, imagine what the next 400 years might be like. We definitely won't be around to see it, but future generations will have to live with it.

    As someone stated recently, if you wish to reduce your carbon footprint, reduce the number of feet.
