Just to let you all know re Conoc Philips .................... it was spun out of Phillips 66 a few years ago and has been selling down assets to get a positive cashflow of between 5% to 10% per annum, are targeting an increase in production growth of between 3% to 5% per annum with a annual CAPEX expenditure of $US16b, are producing roughly 1.5m bod and have 23b oil in reserves ................ They are a pretty big company and taking over FAR would be small change for them.
