Authorities in eastern China have cut off electricity
to more than 500 factories for a month after they failed
to meet emission reduction targets.

The move comes after China warned more than 2000 companies
in high polluting and energy intensive industries to shut
down outdated equipment or risk having bank loans frozen
and their power turned off.

The order from the Ministry of Industry was the latest
salvo by Beijing as it tries to slash its greenhouse
emissions and rebuild the economy......

With China now becoming the world leader in curbing
greenhouse gas emissions and at the same time embracing
UCG for the obvious way ahead to clean up their act,how
long will it be before these local goons finally take
note?.

China is buying up our farmland at a rate of knots,that
has never been witnessed before.By the time the greens/
Governments wake up..the majority of our best AG/soils
will be in Asian/Arab hands.Then all this B/T will amount
to naught.

Julia Gillard hasn't mentioned one word about this life changing
even that will see "huge" amounts of produce from this
country being shipped/flown back to China to feed their
dramatically increasing numbers.

Tony Abbott on the other hand has stipulated that China's
voracious farm purchases must be curbed.

If the greens have their way candles will be a way of life
lettuce leaves will be the Sunday roast and Australia will
be one big national park.[ Bob Brown's dream.]

Another "wake up" call for the senate majority..before
its too late.
