The fat issue for AOD is still a potential winner... BUT... Look at the presentation by David Kenley at the AGM... Invitro studies show cartilage growth activation and an invivo animal study is currently looking at AOD for arthritis with results by end of 1st quarter... What is good about this? 1) the safety data for AOD is extensive 2) the patent for obesity is now short and the patent for arthritis is new 3) short lead time to a human trial given the safety data (presuming a positive animal study) and 4) an ageing population and arthritis being both common and currently treated almost exclusively surgically... Hence a massive market and massive potential to help arthritic people... Maybe not quite the last hurrah for AOD yet and potential to recoup the more than $50million invested?? Happy new Year! Gav
