Let's be very clear that these protests are solely about the locals securing some soft money / community concessions from Lynas so they can share in the spoils of this investment's success - realising the usual big winners are the politicans who induced Lynas to Malaysia and who will not want to see this investment compromised &/or delayed.
As someone has said 'just lay low' and don't get in their faces and let the experts and politicans complete the process to remove any grounds for further protests.
