Maybe just replicate what the protesters are doing and padlock the gates not letting anyone in and out for a couple of days and leave them chained to the machinery at some stage bodily fluids and solids will be released into their pants and a sense of realism may prevail as journalists with a hand on their nostrils interview are let in to interview them .
In the interim put a full page add in the local rag showing how jobs are being sabotaged by the protesters and watch the pitch forks come out.
