With aud down 12 cents on ixr guidence and spot I/0 price not far off guidence price. Certainly looks like imx will meet if not better profit estimates. If you take the 12% off fob costs it means fob in USD terms are now down to. $us 69 a tonne and ore at 121'us a tonne.
Compared to the us $ 83 fob when the aud was $1.04.
Quite a substantial drop and increase in profit.
Also if you look at the scoping study for mt woods any jv partner has an immediate $42 mill saving on the 290 mil mt woods project. Making it a 248 mil USD project.
If the aud fall to 85 USD as in project guidence. The project in USD terms comes in at us 229 mil
And fob in USD terms is around 62 USD a tonne. Due to exchange rates.
Making the mt words project look even better.
