That's quite a claim especially in the light of John's Gospel which I take it that both of you take as gospel.
Yep I take it as gospel but the above bolded message is not one "I" support.

Highlight is mine.
John 15:26 New International Version (NIV)
26 “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me .
The Spirit of truth, Comforter, Advocate, another helper etc ARE The Holy Spirit (God).
So effectively, because Jesus was going, there was going to be a replacement of what was here when he was here.
The Holy Spirit came into the world as such, never before been or seen and it came IN Jesus without measure.
And it was because of this (God the Holy Spirit in Jesus) Jesus was able to do all the miracles Acts 2:22.
And Acts 2:33 tells us, Jesus received the promise he asked for (God to send the Comforter, Holy Spirit)
Holy Spirit which he had and now shed forth this.
There are a number of verses that interchange God and the Holy Spirit = Meaning they are one in the same.
The same writer of 1 & 2 Cor shows, we are the temple of God and God dwells in this temple, says one account and the other says, the Holy Spirit dwells in you = It is talking about same thing, ONE God dwelling in you.
In Acts we have, if you lie to the Holy Spirit, you are in fact lying to God and I certainly don't believe we are to take that as, the Holy Spirit runs off and tells God.
I showed Mr G verses that show, the Spirit speaks to you and future along in the same area, it is confirmed that THIS Spirit speaking was in Fact God speaking, so you can't get much clearer than that.
What Mr G avoids like the plague is - How can they justify replacing "IN" with Unity and numerous other words changed to accommodate the fitting in of this Unity.
IMO, if you can't come up with what should be a simple explanation or justification for this - You are pushing a Dead Duck haha.

That's wotsup's (a man's) interpretation which is fine if you didn't have a go at others for interpreting in the same way as you do.
The website I posted clearly shows that the bible has verses that portray the Holy Spirit as a person. If you want to ignore these verses or explain them away then fine, but don't blame others for doing the same to support their positions.
Sending the "The Spirit of truth, Comforter, Advocate, another helper etc ARE The Holy Spirit (God)" clearly indicates that that person is not God, but "anther helper".
