For heavens sake, please pay attention...the central issue here is the prophesy of the return of Jesus in the clouds with the host of heaven in Power and 'Great Glory' for all the tribes on Earth to see, come to judge, each man according to his deeds, etc,.......none of which transpired within the promised time line, ie,within the generation present during that time.
Now your persistent references to Mark 9:1 do nothing to resolve this failed prophesy because - as I've been trying to point out - nothing prior to Mark 9:1 explains this failure and nothing that comes after Mark 9:1 explains the failure of the return of Jesus as described within the promised time period.
That id why your constant pointing to Mark 9:1 as a solution is extremely puzzling.
It does not work, Mr Wotsup, the verse before 9:1 being ''when he comes in the glory of his Father with kthe holy angels.” - which is the prophesy that never happened. The event that the first generation of Christians waited for, but it never eventuated.
