Great threads at the moment. Pissadointing share price though.

I too wonder at what point someone will swoop for a takeover. Would a suitor take over on falling oil prices? or gamble that oil and sp will drift further south. Or swoop and grab some real jewels before someone else does. Oil is oil. Gas is gas.

As I posted earlier this week Michael Scott (Cooper M.Director) sums up a feeling in the oil and gas industry " ... you can go looking for assets OR companies. It's hard to get your foot on ground for assets" (West Australian Business Section Tuesday 9/9/9).

Drilling holes is not in anyway turn-key. Further lack of success damages cash reverves, reputation and of course sp. Consolidation in the oil and gas industry ... bring it on.
