Jonkey - you're probably right re the horse trading, but its frustrating if that's the case.
HD & JL knew they were done this time last week. Today we learn the vote 'for' was 3 times greater than against.
NS & PM have not been elected by shareholders and the farcical attempt to appoint NS as an Independent Chair knowing the circumstances just shows the contempt they hold for democratic voting by shareholders.
A board that self destructed from the moment that GT walked prior to the AGM should have minimal influence in appointing new directors.
I hope the new appointments can find a way to sweep hard and sweep clean, otherwise I can't see how NS is what is required at this point in time.
