You are right katoom. I participated in the cnbc international trading competition and while I didnt win lol I was trading big time with my hypothetical capital and all my trades were New York Exchange blue chips and ASX blue chips. I traded Apple a number of times in the comp making a good profit. Trading blue chips I increased my portfolio value by many hundreds of thousands in just a few months lol. A 3- 5% profit on a trade is a 3-5% profit regardless whether its a blue chip or a speccy.
