The MACD indicator is only one indicator traders may follow.
As a rule of thumb if the MACD indicator displays a crossover above the zero line ( as displayed on the PRR chart) you would go short (sell) the stock.
I don't hold because I was away over Xmas and missed the initial run. Congradulations to those who where fortunate to hold at that time. Made good money on SNN in that time without any loss of sleep as to speak.
